Soulcare Kids, Food & Natural Living

Soulcare Kids focuses on organic and natural products for children’s needs, including food, clothing, bedding, toys and other lifestyle essentials.

Soulcare Food supports organic farming and shares information on nutrition, diet and natural approaches to health. Healer Omar supplies daily information on nutrition and diet for better health and natural support for various illnesses and pain.

Soulcare encourages people to think carefully about what they eat, what they use on their bodies and how daily choices affect long-term wellbeing and the environment.

The Soulcare Story

EGP, originally known as Executive Golf Promotions, started its roots in 1998. The focus was on corporate golf days and golf tours. Successful corporate golf days were arranged where business people, golfers and sports personalities could interact socially and enjoy the game of golf.

From there, the idea developed into getaway packages for golfers and travellers. Omar Botha realised that there was another market that could be explored in a deeper way. In 2005, Omar started practising as a healer and rebranded the company as SOULCARE.

SOULCARE means caring for the soul. From this vision, the name SOULCARE RETREATS was born.

Skin, Personal Care & Cleaner Choices

The skin is the body’s largest organ. This is why Soulcare encourages greater awareness around skin care, soaps, shampoos, deodorants, creams, powders, synthetic fragrances and other products used daily.

Many personal care products are absorbed through the skin. Once a cream, powder, deodorant, soap or shampoo is applied, it is not filtered by the body’s digestive system. This makes natural and cleaner choices an important part of healthy living.

The skin is divided into three layers: the epidermis, the dermis and the subcutaneous tissue. Soulcare encourages people to understand how the body interacts with products and to choose cleaner, more natural options wherever possible.

An endocrine disruptor is a substance that can interfere with the body’s natural hormone system. Soulcare encourages awareness around ingredients such as parabens, phthalates, BHT, BHA, petrolatum, synthetic fragrances and DEA.
